CalNote is owned and operated by MB Local Ghost, a limited liability company registered in the European Union. By accessing or using the App, you are entering into an agreement with MB Local Ghost.
By accessing or using CalNote ("the App"), available at app.calnote.eu, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
CalNote is a free, browser-based notepad calculator. It allows you to write mathematical expressions, assign variables, and organize calculations across multiple boards. The App runs entirely in your browser and stores data locally.
You may use CalNote for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:
All data you create in CalNote (boards, calculations, variables) is stored in your browser's local storage. We do not store your data on our servers. You are responsible for your own data — if you clear your browser data, your CalNote content will be lost.
We recommend keeping backups of important calculations outside the App.
The App uses anonymous analytics services (PostHog, Microsoft Clarity) to help us understand usage patterns and improve the experience. No personally identifiable information is collected. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
CalNote is provided free of charge. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from changes to or unavailability of the service.
CalNote is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that calculations will always be accurate. Do not rely on CalNote for critical financial, engineering, or safety calculations.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MB Local Ghost and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws of the jurisdiction in which MB Local Ghost is registered.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
